Happy New Year
*Sequins, pom poms, funnels, small colorful buttons, and water bottles
* Mix baking soda and sprite in a water bottle. Shake up well. Open the top fast and watch the "fireworks", WOW!
Valentine's Day
* Pink, red, and white tissue paper for tearing into small pieces. Glue and pre-cut purple hearts out of construction paper. Twist up tissue paper pieces & glue on hearts.
* Valentine Candy Hearts, tweezers or tongs, and cups for transferring
St. Patrick's Day
* Lucky Charms Cereal, plastic spoons and bowls for pretend breakfast. Don't forget to find the 4Leaf Clovers for goodluck!
Easter
* Plastic easter eggs, jelly beans, tweezers, and ice cube trays. Child can sort, distribute, open and close the eggs to mix and match colors
4th of July and Memorial Day
* Popsicle sticks, red and white strips of paper, star stickers, and large index cards. For older kids, throw in some tape.
Halloween
* Plastic bugs, spiders, spider web
* Carved pumpkin with seeds & pulp
Thanksgiving
* Corn for shucking, colorful leaves
Christmas
* White confetti (for snow), white playdough, small carrots, black buttons, black pipecleaners cut for arms, black pre-cut hat. The kids will love making snowmen!
